Autumn is a Second Spring When Every Leaf is a Flower, Alburt Camus

I have always loved that quote because as much as I love spring flowers, the rich hues of autumn never cease to amaze me. It truly is my favorite time of the year!

I’m jumping right into fall fashion without a moment of hesitation. 🙂

Today I decided to treat myself to lunch at Old Mill Bread Company. Tucked away in an unassuming shopping center, this little gem, located in Cedar Bluff, is one of Knoxville’s “hidden treasures”. Given that it is the first official day of fall, I chose to ignore the still 80 degree temps and ordered a half sandwich and cup of soup to usher in the new season. *note my Prius made her own debut 😉

Mesquite turkey on Great Plains with spicy mustard, pickles, banana peppers, lettuce, tomato, and Swiss / Navy bean soup with ham / Complimentary brownie bite

This lunch completely hit the spot!

I love their theme and décor! So rustic, warm, and inviting.

Incredible dinner rolls. I had to get a bag of Montana Sourdough!

Racks of freshly baked bread for the taking! So many wholesome choices that one could never become bored with the selection. Please do yourself a favor and stop by the café! They also sell their bread at many surrounding Kroger locations.

Now I will leave you with a few more pretty images to get you just as excited for autumn. Tell me: what is your favorite season and what do you love most about this time of year?
